Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) Random Testing
All employees regulated by 49 CFR Part 382.305 are required to implement a random drug and alcohol testing program. The current rate for FMCSA random drug and alcohol testing is under current law is:
50% of the average number of driver positions are deemed to have a DOT S-Panel per year
10% of the average number of driver positions are deemed to have a Breath Alcohol Test (BAT) per year.
Upon enrollment you will receive monthly or quarterly random list based off the information you set forth from the driver pool and will be sent a computer-generated random list and reminders mid quarter if you have fallen shon of the goal for the designated timeframe. Also, your company will receive a certificate of compliance for submission to DOT and all memberships,
